A NIGHT OUT WITH: KEVIN SAUNDERSON & DANTIEZ AS E-DANCER (320kbs-m4a/137mb/60mins)

BBC Radio 6 Music broadcast: 5th April 2025

Kevin Saunderson is one of the most important and foundational figures in techno, acting as one of the Belleville Three (alongside Juan Atkins and Derrick May) who are credited with inventing the genre of Detroit techno. After decades of work as Inner City, inventing the famed Reese bassline and impacting the sound of dance music as we know it, he stops by Rave Forever with his son, Dantiez. Here, their duo e-Dancer will take you on a journey of the past, the present and the future. Spanning from 1987 to the sound of the present, this is a crash course in the history and the spirit of Detroit techno.
