BBC Radio 6 Music broadcast: 9th December 2018
Three artists take over three shows as part of Art Is Everywhere on BBC 6 Music. David Shrigley, Mira Calix and Martin Creed take over the Sunday Hour and play music that inspires their work, music they listen to when working, or just music they love.
This week Mira Calix takes over the decs. Mira is an award-winning artist and composer signed to Warp Records. She considers sound a sculptural material. Her work explores the manipulation of the material into visible, physical forms through multi-disciplinary installations, sculpture, video and performance works.
