They chat about his very earliest influences, the impact of early rock n roll and the emerging blues scene in the late 60s that would see him partner up with the drummer John Bonham - and what happened when the pair of them became 50% of Led Zeppelin.
They discuss the fall out of that experience, but also his acclaimed collaboration with Alison Krauss and his on-going band - The Sensational Space Shifters who released their last album Carry Fire early this year.
