Kevin Saunderson is one of the most important and foundational figures in techno, acting as one of the Belleville Three (alongside Juan Atkins and Derrick May) who are credited with inventing the genre of Detroit techno. After decades of work as Inner City, inventing the famed Reese bassline and impacting the sound of dance music as we know it, he stops by Rave Forever with his son, Dantiez. Here, their duo e-Dancer will take you on a journey of the past, the present and the future. E-Dancer AKA Kevin Saunderson, has been aptly nicknamed 'The Elevator', for bringing Detroit techno and house music to the mainstream in the late '80s with his group Inner City, which topped UK charts with singles like "Big Fun and "Good Life." Over thirty years on, Saunderson soundtracks raves and clubs across the globe and is a vocal champion for inclusion and change in the industry, drawing attention to racial disparity in the dance scene and the significance of black influence on it's history.
