PINCH - BLEEP MIX #306 (258kbs-m4a/112mb/60mins)
Bleep podcast: 30th July 2025
For Tectonic's 20th anniversary, label boss Pinch rounds up some heaters from the label alongside their Tectonic Sound compilation. Spinning the whole bass spectrum, Pinch goes from broiling two step to scrubbing grime, with frazzled pulse discharging great energy beside Trim's idiosyncratic, expressive raps. Lighter moments like the whizzing, zipping, euphoric arpeggios of Peverelist's 'Feel Something' are offset by guttural moody bass, travelling from the club convergence of rattles and tings and brightly resonating metals on Bohdi's 'Bellcurve' to the heavy rotating bass of J. Sparrow's 'L33T SP33K', with slippery dub lasers echoing out.
"Here's me mixing live on CDJs for an hour, bringing you the sound of my sets right now, also bringing in some current and classic Tectonic tracks as part of our 20-year celebrations and showcasing a few tracks from the Tectonic Sound compilation too - that's out now!" - Pinch
