THE WU-TANG CLAN RADIO SHOW (320kbs-m4a/259mb/1hr53mins)
BBC Radio 6 Music broadcast: 9th February 2018

As part of 6 Music Loves NYC Weekend, RZA and Mathematics from the almighty Wu-Tang Clan take over for 2 hours. The duo play hip hop from across the spectrum and the tracks that have been sampled by the genre.

Formed in Staten Island in the early 90's, Wu-Tang have become one of the most influential hip hop groups of all time. They released their legendary debut record Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) 25 years ago and have gone on to put out a total of 7 studio albums, the latest being 2017's The Saga Continues.

Expect some vintage Wu beats, funk and soul from artists such as Syl Johnson, Fred Wesley and Lyn Collins and some new artists that they're championing at the moment. There's also a chance to hear an exclusive track, created on the spot in the studio, featuring Chicago rapper Reverend Willie Burke and electronic duo Parisi.
