BBC Radio 6 Music broadcast: 29th November 2019
We continue our Art Is Everywhere Celebrations with Mr Scruff, a man who's drawings are as well known as his DJ sets. Scruff joins us live in our Salford studio to DJ live and to chat about his love of music, art and everything in-between.
The remit for Art Is Everywhere this year is very simple as we ask you, our listeners to share your art work with us. It can be something you make whilst listening to the show or in the words of Blue Peter, it can be one you made earlier. Whether it's a photo, a painting, a scarf, or a sculpture, share your creativity with us on Twitter using #6MusicArt.
On Tuesday the 3rd of December, we will broadcast live from the Turner Contemporary Gallery in Margate, tying in directly with the 2019 Turner Prize. A selection of the best entries will be projected into the gallery on Tuesday 3rd of December so if you share your art with us it may be featured:
• On the 6Music homepage
• On the BBC Arts website
• A selection of the best entries will also be projected into Turner Contemporary in Margate, where we will be broadcasting our show in front of a live audience.
Please only share your own original art work. All people featured in the art work must be 16 or over.
